Horticulture 4.0 presented at the XVIII Agricultural Science Conference
The Transylvanian Museum Association (EME), Sfântu Gheorghe branch and the organisation's Department of Agricultural Sciences organised a conference entitled Agricultural Science: the basis of our living future at the Sapientia University of Transylvania's Hungarian Studies Centre in Sfântu Gheorghe on 25 November. The scientific conference is part of the 21st edition of the Hungarian Science Day in Transylvania, organised by the EME.
This year's conference focused on four areas: agriculture, forestry, horticulture and landscape architecture.
Nearly twenty presentations on agriculture, horticulture, forestry and landscape architecture were given during the day-long conference, mostly by teachers, former and current students of Sapientia University of Applied Sciences, but also by the Universities of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj-Napoca and Bucharest, as well as the Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism of the capital.
The event also featured a presentation of the Horticulture 4.0 project by the project's partner in Transylvania (SEMT). István Nyárádi gave a presentation about the project and the activities and results planned in the project.
