Preparing for The Changes In Learning Culture

Recently, the project team of FliCreate Erasmus + 2019-1-IT02-KA201-063149 project in which we are working together with  Italian, Slovenian and Polish partners has completed its online theoretical training for teachers. At the end of the course the educators highlighted the following benefits of the active learning methods they learned:

  • students are forced to manage their own time,
  • critical thinking can be effectively improved;
  • students can discuss problems with schoolmates;
  • differentiation is easier.

They faced problems and challenges though:

  • how to motivate students, how to conduct lessons that will be interesting to students and at the same time pedagogical goals will be achieved;
  • lack of (teaching) time, or how to find enough time to produce good quality videos - increasing workload.

Several  teachers mentioned that they did not feel reliable enough about their own digital readiness, which is a clear sign to us that we need to continue to develop teachers' digital skills.
